About Magic Touch
Dan Jansen has had a passion for cleaning and detailing for as long as he can remember. At 7 years old, while the other neighborhood kids were playing Atari on a Saturday morning, you could him in the driveway with a garden hose and a bucket of suds cleaning his Dad's cars, followed by a coat of Simoniz to finish the job!
Years later, that was the only way he was allowed to borrow Dad's car. The deal was he had to clean it first. As a teenager with a driver's license, you can bet he always had the brightest white walls and shiniest paint in town. After graduating from UNC Charlotte and spending several years behind a desk, he discovered that he needed to escape corporate America and work for himself. Introducing Magic Touch Auto Salon... In 2006, Dan decided to take his passion to the next level and attend formal training in the art of detailing in Boise, Idaho with the company in charge of detailing Air Force One! They now attend annual continuing education and seminars to stay abreast of the constantly changing technology of waxes, paint sealants, polishing methods and 'green' detailing to name a few areas. To this day, Dan loves the feeling of driving an impeccably detailed car, and moreover bringing that same feeling to his clients. Particularly rewarding is the instant gratification of watching someone's eyes light up when they are reminded of how their car looked when they first drove it out of the showroom. |
